Frequently asked questions
How are the “5 active pages” counted?
It's the total of non-archived pages across the whole organization. Archiving frees up a slot — nothing is deleted, and you can restore anytime.
What happens when version history exceeds 2 on Free?
Older versions are never deleted — they're just locked from viewing. The published version is always accessible. Upgrade to Pro and the full history opens right back up.
Are reviewers billed?
No. Comment access is controlled by the page's comment setting plus sharing and project permissions; it is separate from billable editor access. People who cannot create pages or add new versions do not count toward editor seats.
What is an editor?
An editor is someone who can create pages in TrayPage or add new versions. Organization Owners / Admins and project Admins / Editors count. Viewers, and people who only review or comment through share links or individual sharing, do not count.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. Every page you created stays viewable and editable, and share links and published versions keep working. Only operations beyond the Free limits are restricted: if you have more than 5 active pages you'll need to archive before creating new ones, and version history opens only the latest 2 versions plus the published one (older versions are kept and unlock again when you upgrade).
