Terms of Service

Effective: June 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using TrayPage (the “Service”) and the rights and obligations between you and the operator of the Service (the “Operator”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative text; this English translation is provided for convenience.

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the Operator concerning the use of the Service.

Any individual rules or guidelines the Operator publishes on the Service from time to time form part of these Terms.

Article 2 (Account Registration and Applications)

The Service is currently provided on an invite-only, application-approval basis. To use the Service you must register an account, submit an application, and be approved by the Operator. The Operator may decline an application or revoke an approval.

You must keep your registration information accurate and up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials (including passwords and API tokens) and must not share or transfer them to any third party.

Article 3 (Beta Service)

The Service is currently in beta. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice, and temporary interruptions or loss of stored data may occur.

The Operator makes reasonable efforts to preserve data but does not guarantee availability or data durability at the level of a commercial service. We recommend keeping your own copies of important content.

Article 4 (Fees)

During the beta period, all features of the Service are free of charge.

If paid plans are introduced, we will announce them in advance. You will never be charged without your explicit consent.

Article 5 (Rights to User Content)

Intellectual property rights in the HTML and other content you upload to or publish on the Service (“User Content”) remain with you or the rightful owner.

You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use User Content to the extent necessary to provide the Service (including storing, copying, delivering, displaying, and generating previews). User Content is shown to third parties only according to the visibility settings you configure.

You represent and warrant that you hold the rights necessary to upload and publish your User Content.

Article 6 (Software of the Service)

Intellectual property rights in the software, design, logos, and other elements that make up the Service belong to the Operator or their rightful owners. You are granted only the right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)

You must not engage in any of the following when using the Service. Because the Service hosts arbitrary HTML, the content-related rules below are enforced strictly.

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals, or that relate to criminal activity
  • Creating or publishing phishing sites, fraudulent pages, or content that improperly collects login credentials, payment card details, or similar information
  • Publishing or distributing content containing malware, viruses, or other harmful programs
  • Infringing the intellectual property, likeness, privacy, reputation, or other rights or interests of third parties
  • Publishing content involving child sexual exploitation or other illegal or harmful content
  • Sending spam, or publishing content in bulk solely to manipulate search engines
  • Impersonating the Service or the Operator
  • Placing excessive load on the Service's servers or networks, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, or gaining unauthorized access
  • Selling, lending, or transferring accounts or API tokens
  • Any other conduct the Operator reasonably deems inappropriate

Article 8 (Enforcement and Content Removal)

If the Operator determines that you have violated, or are likely to violate, these Terms, the Operator may, without prior notice, unpublish or delete User Content and suspend or delete your account.

The Operator bears no liability for any damage you incur as a result of these measures.

If you find content that violates these Terms, please report it to the contact in Article 13.

Article 9 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service)

The Operator may change the Service or suspend or terminate its provision. If the Service is to be terminated, the Operator will, in principle, give at least 30 days' notice and make reasonable efforts to provide an opportunity to export your content, except where this is unavoidable.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

The Service is provided “as is.” The Operator makes no warranty, express or implied, that the Service is free of defects in fact or in law (including defects relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, fitness for a particular purpose, or security, as well as errors, bugs, and rights infringements).

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for any damage you incur arising from the Service. Where the Operator is liable, its liability is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months (zero for free use).

The preceding paragraph applies only to the extent it does not conflict with the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or other mandatory laws.

Article 11 (Personal Information)

The Operator handles personal information obtained through the Service appropriately, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Article 12 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may amend these Terms in accordance with the provisions on standard terms of contract under Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan. Amended Terms take effect when posted on the Service. For material changes, the Operator will give advance notice on the Service or by email to your registered address.

Article 13 (Contact and Abuse Reports)

Notices from the Operator to users are given by email to the registered address or by posting on the Service.

For inquiries about the Service or to report content that violates these Terms, contact support@tray.page.

Article 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute arising in connection with the Service.
